Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you call yourself “GaptoothDiva”?

I call myself I’esha GaptoothDiva because I feel far too many people build their images on personality traits that they don’t maintain all of the time, portraying an image that is only part of themselves. I own the fact that I have a gap between my teeth and that I’m still fabulous and chic. Therefore, I call it as I see it; I’m a Diva with a gap. It is what it is.

What is you goal with GaptoothDiva.com?

My goal with the brand and the website is to promote the qualities that mainstream media tend to ignore, such as raw talent, unique attributes not related to sex or wealth, and the ability to pursue your ambitions without fear of judgment or ridicule from the masses. I want people to remember my movement as being “pro-individuality” and against the typical standard of beauty, entertainment, business and art. I want people to believe in their awesome talents beyond their physical flaws.

Do you only interview and work with individuals and business in Richmond, Virginia?

Absolutely not! I work with anyone from anywhere, who is serious about his or her craft and willing to work in conjunction with the policy that everything has to be honest and legitimate. There are people all over the country who inquire about working with my brand. Those inquiries that come to me are evaluated on a first come – first served basis, regardless of geographical location. Richmond is full of talent and drive, my goal is to highlight that to my audience because this is where I reside and where it all started for me. Nevertheless, I love talking with diverse people from all over.

Are there any limitations to individuals you will not work with?

GaptoothDiva has the right to work with those individuals chosen at a discretionary criterion, however the company has the right to accept or deny inquiries as managers see fit. I personally, choose not to work with anyone who does not take their project(s) seriously or who attempts to utilize our avenue of media to promote negative or hateful remarks toward any race, gender, religious background, or sexual preference. GaptoothDiva is considered an equal opportunity new media group.

What are the current opportunities you are willing to accept?

I am currently interested in hosting, event promotion/planning, acting, guest appearances/guest submissions, social media/brand management consulting and modeling opportunities.

What is the motto you live by?

“Dream as if you’ll live forever, Live as if you’ll die today” – James Dean

& “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou
