It’s that time of year when everyone is talking about losing weight and changing their eating habits. In the past, I often found this to be extremely hard, but as I grew more mature, I learned the benefits of detoxifying your body and how it helps you internal organs function better, thus helping you function better as a person. I want to share some truly effective how to detoxify your body for maximum energy tips, so that your journey to improving yourself and your health is a lot easier. Detoxing your system, doesn’t have to be a daunting or mundane process, because it’s all about improving who you are from the inside. With these simple, yet surefire tips, you can begin losing weight, boosting your metabolism and jump-start your energy levels in no time.
Cut your sugar intake –
Sugar is the culprit for packing on pounds and causing fatigue, there is no doubt about it. If you want to boost your metabolism, you will need to dismiss sugar from that diet. That also includes molasses, syrup, artificial sweeteners, and honey. By doing this, you can dramatically see a difference and improve your health. Processed foods are almost always filled with sugar.
Combat Environmental Pollutants –
It’s hard to avoid all pollutants and combat environmental toxins, because let’s face it… it’s everywhere. However, a little trick to jumpstart an attempt to getting those toxins out of your body daily is using that old school Neti Pot on a regular basis. Do you remember that weird porcelain thingy that looks like a tea-pot for your nasal passages? This little trick will help with puffy eyes, allergies, and disgusting phlegm/mucous problems, while also helping you sleep better.
Start with Water –
If you want to help the waste in your body just flow out with ease, drink water. Would you like to ensure that your food intake is well digested, then drink water. Would you like to lose weight? Drink Water. Drinking water is essential to detoxing your body. Nowadays, you can add exotic fruits and lemons to the water, to add a delicious flavor to just plain H20. Nevertheless, water is essential to hydrating your system and aiding in digestion.
Eat Organic –
If it’s not colorful, why bother? Processed food is not nutritious. You are way better off with healthy fruits and veggies that are full of vitamins and nutrients that aid in improving your health. Along with beans, seeds, nuts, and whole grains a healthy diet is definitely an asset in helping you avoid unnecessary calories, so you can be well on your way to eating and feeling better.
Move Your Body & Sweat it out –
Exercise helps the blood in your body circulate properly, boost your mood, improves digestion and aids in weight loss. If that’s not enough, people who exercise on a regular basis are naturally sexier, and have way fewer toxins in their system. If exercise is not your favorite thing to do, healthy uses of saunas are a great way to bring down weight by sweating out the toxins in your body.
Exfoliate your skin –
Refresh your skin cells by exfoliating and removing the dead skin from your body by regularly scrubbing your skin and utilizing body scrubs and regular massages using oil.
Drink a Lot of Tea –
Teas has so many benefits like filling you up. Also the caffeine in caffeinated teas are much gentler on your system than coffee, which means the same energy boosting benefits with no jitters. In addition, herbal teas are full of antioxidants, while also hydrating you.
Speaking of tea, when I decided to detox my body I tried Organic Dandelion Root Tea – With Hibiscus & Cinnamon by Kiss Me Organics. This tea, which is USDA Organic, claimed to supports healthy digestion and aids in liver & kidney detoxification with just 2 heaping grams per tea bag.
I was not only looking to drops some pounds, but for something that helped boost my metabolism and clean my entire system, without keeping in the bathroom all day. This tea promised to do all of that and more. The benefits associated with drinking this tea were far beyond my expectations, such as:
SUPPORTS HEALTHY DIGESTION, KIDNEY HEALTH & LIVER FUNCTION
Detox the liver and kidneys from toxins that can build up over time. Healthy digestion helps the body to absorb more nutrients and improve physical and cognitive functions.
RAW & ORGANIC
Raw Dandelion Root is extremely nutrient rich and provides more vital minerals and vitamins to your body when compared to roasted Dandelion Root.
Raw Dandelion root is rich in Vitamins A, C, D and B-complex plus Iron, Potassium and Zinc. A diet rich in these nutrients can help treat mood disorders, liver disorders and boost a weakened immune system.
HIBISCUS & CINNAMON
While enhancing the earthy flavor, and adding a hint of flowery sweetness to every cup; Hibiscus has been shown to help regulate blood pressure and Cinnamon has been shown to regulate blood sugar and reduce bad cholesterol.
I will say that the initial tasting of the tea, did send me to the bathroom. Like for real! However, I took that as my body was full of toxins and processed food that probably was hurting my liver, kidneys, and digestive system. I did eat a cheeseburger and fries, accompanied by a bottle of Kool-Aid the night before. However, after consistently drinking the tea, I was able to get through a cup of tea without feeling discomfort in my stomach, as my body was detoxing and removing the waste properly. Associated with a healthy & revised food intake and a semi-regular exercise regiment, I was able to see a significant difference in my weight and my overall health. I attribute this tea as another reason, I loss almost 50lbs in 3 months, prior to my pregnancy.
I would definitely suggest this tea as a simple, yet effective way to lose weight and jump-start a new year’s detox, Daniel’s fast, lent, or whatever opportunity you need to change your eating, lifestyle, detox, lose weight, or clean out your system. If you are looking for ways on how to detoxify your body for maximum energy, this is definitely a tea you should consider, as it helped me go from couch potato to full on weekly runner in just a week or two, by giving me the energy I needed to just start.
This tea is delicious. I did not use sugar at all. I actually replaced the sugar with just a spoon full of agave nectar and it was great. I recommended to friends and family, and even handed out samples, and everyone raved about how effective it was in flushing them out and improving their digestive system. I also saw a noticeable difference when added with a change in diet.
